The New Fit Note –
Managing the return to work
29th September 2010, Royal Free Hospital, Pond Street, Hampstead, London.
From 6 April 2010 the sick note has changed to become a fit note. The changes were made to help more employees return to work as soon as they are ready to.
What is changing? What stays the same? How can this help your business and clients?
Does the new fit note give employers, GPs and OH professionals greater flexibility in managing sickness absence or does it add to the paperwork?
Leading clinical experts will give an overview of the use of fit note. Speakers will discuss the latest treatments and expectations of functional recovery for a number of clinical conditions commonly encountered in occupational health practice.

- Fit note 6 months after introduction and DWP guidelines
- Fit note - HR’s perspective
